Order Status

To view the status of an active order, select the "Order Status" link in the global toolbar. You can track your order by entering your order confirmation number and email address on our order status page.

Order Changes

To change or cancel an order, send us an email right away. To provide the best service possible, we need to receive your request before your order is in transit.

Order Problems

ChocolatePlanet.com guarantees the quality of every order. If you have any problems with the quality of your product, send us an email within 48 hours of delivery. A refund will only be given to the purchaser. Expect to wait 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your VISA or MasterCard statement.

Substitutions

ChocolatePlanet.com does not substitute any item you order without your authorization. If there is any problem with the fulfillment of your order, you will be notified immediately.

Payment Options & Taxes

We accept VISA and Mastercard. We do not accept checks, cash or credit vouchers. All prices are stated in Canadian dollars.

Sales tax is automatically computed when you place your order. Taxes are charged at the current rate on the date your order is processed.

Delivery Options

ChocolatePlanet.com delivers across Canada and offers same day local delivery service to the Greater Toronto area. Same day deliveries are made between 12 Noon EST and 5:00 p.m. EST. All other deliveries are made between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone. We deliver Monday through Friday.

Shipping charges are calculated per recipient, based upon the distance from the chocolatier and the delivery location.

To ensure quality, we may choose not to deliver chocolates on extremely warm days. During certain periods of the summer we my offer only same day and next day delivery. This information will be posted on our home page. You will be notified should you place an order to an area where we cannot deliver under warm weather conditions.

Same Day Delivery
(Greater Toronto Area only)
Place order for same day delivery by 12 Noon EST. Local courier delivers between 12 Noon EST and 5:00 p.m. EST Monday - Friday.

Next Business Day Express
Place order by 12 Noon EST for next business day delivery. Orders placed after 12 Noon EST Friday are delivered on Tuesday.

Standard Delivery
(2-5 business days)
Order arrives 2-5 business days after you place your order for delivery to any destination that does not offer next-day service.

Business days are Monday - Friday.

Delivery

At Chocolate Planet, we do our best to keep our customers informed of changes to scheduled delivery times. We are unable to guarantee delivery for a specific time of day. On some occasions the recipient may be phoned to confirm delivery on the date requested, unless we are otherwise instructed by the customer. * * * We are unable to give refunds on orders that have been delayed due to adverse weather conditions, order fulfillment problems, or courier delays.* * *

Weekends & Holidays

We do not delivery on national Canadian holidays and weekends. Schedules and order cut-offs for major gift-giving holidays will be posted on our home page.

Care Packaging

We take great care to package and protect your order to ensure that your chocolates arrive in perfect condition. Our chocolates are packed in an insulated box to allow for slight temperature variations.
