Delivery & Handling

ChocolatePlanet.com delivers across Canada and offers exclusive same-day local delivery service to Toronto and select cities within southern Ontario.

Deliveries are made only Monday through Friday. Weekend and Canadian national holiday deliveries are not possible at this time.
Orders are processed on the day you submit your order, pending credit card authorization.

Delivery Options

Local Delivery

(same or later business day)

Orders must be received by 12 Noon. EST if same-day delivery is selected.

Deliveries scheduled for Toronto and other same-day delivery cities will be delivered by local courier no later than 5:00 p.m. EST.

Next Day Air

(1 business day)

Orders for overnight delivery must be received by 3:00 p.m. EST one business day before the delivery date. Orders placed after 3:00p.m. EST on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Orders placed anytime on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday.

2nd Day Air

(2 business days)

Orders must be received by 3:00 p.m. EST three business days before the delivery date. Orders are delivered two business days after the day you place your order.

Standard Ground

(3-7 business days)

Orders will arrive three to seven business days after the day you place your order.

Regular Deliveries & Charges

All orders placed by 12 Noon EST will be processed that same day. If your order is received after 12 Noon EST you should allow 24 hours for processing. Local same day deliveries in Ontario are made between 12 Noon EST and 5:00 p.m. EST.

We can guarantee delivery on a specific day for same-day local, overnight or priority air deliveries. We can guarantee delivery by a specific day for all standard ground service deliveries. We are unable to guarantee delivery for a specific time of day. On some occasions the recipient may be phoned to confirm delivery on the date requested.

The delivery charges vary based on where the chocolates are being shipped from and where they are to be shipped to, and how quickly they are to be delivered. Shipping charges are calculated during the check out process.

NOTE: Delivery rates are charged per recipient.

Weekends & Holidays

Sunday, Saturday and Canadian national holiday deliveries are not possible at this time. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be scheduled on the following Monday according to the delivery option chosen. Orders placed on a national holiday will be scheduled on the next business day according to delivery option.

Holidays are busy times at ChocolatePlanet.com so it is important to place your order as early as possible. Delivery schedules, including cut-off times, will be posted before each major gift-giving holiday.
